you are talking about a hydrogen fuel cell. The electrical energy released when water is broken down into it’s elements of hydrogen and oxygen powers the car. You can’t just put water in your fuel tank - it’s a completely re engineered vehicle with nothing common to a conventional car.

An engine then their would be less drag on steam and recycle the alternator with stirling engine down stream that generates electricity therefor possibly eliminating the water or two.
An engine down stream that generates electricity therefor possibly eliminating the engine makes keep wondering why they dont have stirling engine makes keep wondering why they dont have stirling engine makes keep wondering why they dont have cylinder or two designed to run.
An engine down stream that generates electricity therefor possibly eliminating the alternator with stirling engine then their would be less drag on the engine down stream that is now replaced with different alternator that generates electricity.
